OUR STORY
Wayne (Wayno) and Lisa (Tia) Maxwell married in 1989 in Galveston Texas. Twenty four years later they moved to the country side for some fresh air and horses. Wayno, an airbrushing hobbyist, and Tia, a multimedia artist decided to build an art studio on the land to work on their respective passions.
Tia started scrapbooking after the birth of their son Aaron. This soon lead to many other artistic endeavors. Today Tia works primarily on furniture refurbishing and quilting. She teaches painting classes and is an elite retailer for Dixie Belle Paints.
Wayno, who grew up decorating cookies in his mother's cookie shop and painting his model cars, started airbrushing hard hats for friends and coworkers. Now he custom paints Singer Sewing machines and has clients around the world who collect and gift these nostalgic heirlooms.
